The issue of responsibility of the coach is clearly important. I think there is a difference between the responsibility for acting in a professional way, being responsible to the agreements coaches have with their clients and taking responsibility FOR the client. That is coaches are not fully responsible for outcomes and the client is responsible for their part in implementing and using coaching, plus there are other variables in achieving outcomes over which the coach has no control. Am I off base?
